Zagliani's headquarters and Bespoke Atelier are housed in a 17th century palazzo on Via Durini in Milano, built in 1645 by the renowned architect Francesco Maria Richini. The palazzo's first owner, Giambattista Durini, decorated the rooms with wall and ceiling frescoes in the distinctive Barachetto style of the period.
Scrupulously restored by Zagliani, the almost overpoweringly opulent masculinity is now counterbalanced by a distinctively feminine minimalism. Taupe and eggshell tones, echoing the colour of the frescoes, faceted mirror display cabinets, Zanuso sofas and armchairs gorgeously reupholstered in contemporary velvets and tweeds. Then, at the end of the corridor, the light-flooded Atelier, where the most intimate Zagliani experience awaits.
The Zagliani Bespoke Atelier service at Palazzo Durini allows customers to speak directly with the house to create their own exclusive Zagliani bag. The haute-couture experience is uniquely hands-on: touch is as important as sight, and every decision is deliberated carefully. Which precious skin? Colour? Size? Initials engraved or inlaid? In gold, or with diamonds?
The Zagliani Bespoke Atelier experience is a private moment in which the house unfolds its values and savoir-faire for the client, who is the sole protagonist in an intimate play of the senses.
